The Law “On the State Budget for 2026” allocates 13.1 billion hryvnias (+ 3.5 billion compared to 2025) for financial support to agricultural producers next year.
The Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture clarified that the funds are designated for:
- financial support for agricultural producers;
- farmers;
- humanitarian demining of farmland;
- supporting the development of irrigation;
- launching agricultural insurance.
Specifically, the funds will be allocated for:
- frontline territories based on the calculation per unit of cultivated land;
- agricultural commodity producers using reclaimed land, and water user organizations;
- insurance of agricultural products;
- livestock development;
- producers engaged in breeding, keeping, and cultivating freshwater fish in frontline territories;
- farming households through the mechanism of additional payment of the unified contribution for compulsory state social insurance.
Opportunities are also provided for issuing grants for the creation or development of horticulture, berry growing, viticulture, and greenhouse farming.
