Agro-Region, one of Ukraine’s leading agricultural producers, has summed up the results of the 2025 harvest campaign, which proved both challenging and rewarding for the team, ProAgro Group reports. Despite difficult weather conditions, actual yields exceeded initial expectations.
According to the company, the average corn yield reached 9.64 t/ha. A standout result was achieved by the AR Bozna production unit, which set a new internal record with 11.87 t/ha — the highest figure among all divisions of the group.
Chief Agronomist Yurii Lysak noted that the season was atypical. A cool spring and lack of heat, especially critical for corn, delayed vegetation and pushed the start of harvesting back by nearly two weeks. Additional challenges were caused by higher grain moisture, which affected elevator throughput.
At the same time, Lysak emphasized that the coordinated work of agronomy, engineering and elevator teams, along with the support of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, enabled the company to achieve strong results and successfully complete the season.
Earlier we reported that corn accounts for the largest share of grain production this season — as of January 1, a total of 27.7 million tonnes had been harvested from 89% of the sown area, with an average yield of 7.13 t/ha.
