On January 26, 2026, Dubai will host the first-ever FOODAGRO MEETUP — a professional international business meeting for Ukrainian producers and global partners, held within one of the world’s largest food exhibitions, Gulfood 2026.
The event is organized by the Ukrainian Export Alliance jointly with the Ukrainian Pulse and Soybean Association, with the support of the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine.
FOODAGRO MEETUP will bring together around 200 participants from more than 30 countries. The program includes international networking and two professional discussion tracks: Agro Commodities, focused on trade in grains, pulses, and oilseeds, and FMCG, dedicated to value-added food products. Discussions will feature representatives of government institutions, international associations, and leading global companies.
Key topics of FOODAGRO MEETUP include:
- the most in-demand agricultural commodities in MENA markets and shifting regional demand trends;
- key risks for Ukrainian producers entering Middle East and North Africa markets;
- the most promising FMCG categories and demand drivers in the MENA region;
- choosing the optimal export model: private label versus own brand development;
- practical approaches to overcoming regulatory, cultural, and operational barriers in the region.
“FOODAGRO MEETUP is designed to focus international attention on Ukraine and present it effectively during Gulfood 2026. For Ukrainian companies, it opens a new channel for global positioning, while for international partners it offers fast access to a concentrated pool of verified Ukrainian producers,” said Antonina Skliarenko, President of the Ukrainian Pulse and Soybean Association.
The international significance of the event is reinforced by the Ukrainian Pulse and Soybean Association’s newly granted status as Community Partner of Gulfood 2026, which includes the right to distribute complimentary partner passes for all exhibition days.
In 2026, Gulfood will expand and take place simultaneously at two major venues — Dubai World Trade Centre and Dubai Exhibition Centre (Expo City Dubai). The exhibition will cover 240,000 square meters, feature over 8,500 exhibitors, and welcome participants from 195 countries, turning Dubai into a global hub for food trade, innovation, and international decision-making.
Ukrainian and international companies interested in participating in FOODAGRO MEETUP during Gulfood 2026 can learn more about the program and submit an application on the event’s official website:
