Ukraine supports non-commodity exports worth UAH 10.4 billion in 2025

In 2025, the state-owned Export Credit Agency of Ukraine (ECA) supported Ukrainian exports totaling UAH 10.43 billion, which is 1.4 times more than in 2024 (UAH 7.53 billion), reports ProAgro Group.

According to the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, the ratio of supported exports to insured liabilities in 2025 amounted to UAH 7.36 per UAH 1.

Throughout 2025, with ECA support, 84 credit agreements were insured and 106 export transactions were facilitated for 75 Ukrainian exporters.

The leading regions by the volume of supported exports in 2025 were:

  • Lviv region — UAH 2.64 billion;
  • Khmelnytskyi region — UAH 1.36 billion;
  • Ternopil region — UAH 1.23 billion;
  • Volyn region — UAH 1.14 billion.

Last year, Ukrainian exporters supported by the ECA supplied products to 35 countries worldwide. The key destination markets were:

  • Poland — UAH 2.73 billion;
  • Austria — UAH 1.0 billion;
  • Czech Republic — UAH 731 million;
  • Lithuania — UAH 633 million;
  • Germany — UAH 606 million.

By product groups, the top five categories of supported exports were:

  • food products — UAH 2.2 billion;
  • wood and wood products — UAH 1.89 billion;
  • furniture — UAH 1.5 billion;
  • processed vegetables, fruits and nuts — UAH 952 million;
  • alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages — UAH 865 million.

As previously reported, Oleh Khomenko, CEO of the Ukrainian Agribusiness Club (UCAB), noted that exporters entering new markets must be confident they will receive payment for their goods, highlighting the need to further strengthen the guarantees provided by the Export Credit Agency.
