Ukrainian company Rayton has successfully implemented the largest rooftop solar power plant for self-consumption by an enterprise in Dnipro, ProAgro Group reports.
The company – a manufacturer of steel water and gas pipes and profile pipes – invested in a solar power plant with a capacity of 4,027 kW, along with energy storage systems totaling 4,180 kWh.
In total, Rayton has already completed more than 300 successful projects across key sectors of the economy. In addition to a record number of industrial energy storage systems (over 40 MW) installed for businesses, the company has built more than 100 MW of industrial solar power plants.
Today, the integration of energy storage systems is becoming not only a profitable investment but also a critical necessity.
Demian Krutchenko, CEO and co-owner of Rayton, emphasized that installing energy storage systems is an inevitable step for any business seeking to maintain its market position.
“Energy autonomy for businesses is no longer a matter of comfort or image. It is the foundation of the country’s economic resilience and the ability of enterprises to operate even under crisis conditions,” Krutchenko said.
He also noted that the development of decentralized energy solutions, where solar generation works in synergy with industrial battery storage systems, is crucial not only for the sustainability of individual companies but also for the stability of the national economy as a whole.
