The Agrotrade Group has completed its corn harvesting campaign, with the crop becoming the most productive in the company’s portfolio this season. The average yield reached 9.89 t/ha, exceeding the planned target by more than 17%, ProAgro Group reports.

According to the company, the highest results were recorded in the third cluster in Sumy region, located near the border. There, corn yields reached 10.42 t/ha, which is 122% of the planned level.

Strong performance was also demonstrated by farms in the fifth cluster in Chernihiv region, where the average yield amounted to 10.33 t/ha.

“The season required flexibility and quick decisions from the team, as weather conditions repeatedly adjusted our plans. However, thanks to well-selected hybrids, balanced nutrition, and timely crop care, we managed to achieve yields exceeding our planned indicators,” said Hennadii Malyi, Chief Agronomist of Agrotrade Group.

The company emphasized that corn will remain one of the key crops in the holding’s crop rotation structure. The team has already begun preparing for the next season by analyzing the results of the campaign and planning further technological improvements to increase production efficiency.

Earlier it was reported that Agrotrade resumed corn harvesting in mid-February. As of the end of 2025, about 1,225.5 hectares still remained to be harvested in the third cluster in Sumy region, located about 20 km from the border, representing around 10% of the total corn acreage.
