3An elevator and an oil pressing plant are planned for construction in the Lviv region. The project will be implemented by Hanse Agri Ukraine in the Brody community, according to ProAgro Group.
The complex will include a grain elevator with a handling capacity of 200 tons per hour. Two grain dryers—Stela MDB-XN 2/14-S and STRAHL FAV8 8500—will be installed, each with a capacity of 44 tons per hour for corn drying (reducing moisture from 24% to 14%).
Grain cleaning will be carried out using MAROT A4010 / C5.1610 VP machines (two units with a capacity of 200 tons per hour each), as well as TAS-206 and Horizont-K-500A units (each with a capacity of 200 tons per hour). Total temporary storage capacity will amount to 18,600 cubic meters, while permanent storage capacity will reach 66,340 cubic meters.
The elevator will operate 344 days per year: under normal conditions, in a single 8-hour shift with 9 employees per day, and during the peak season (August–November), in three shifts with up to 27 employees per day.
In parallel, an oil pressing plant will be launched at the site, with a processing capacity of up to 300 tons per day of oilseeds and niche crops. The plant will produce both cold-pressed and hot-pressed oil, as well as oilcake with a residual oil content of no less than 5.5%.
The project also includes an oil filtration line, packaging of oilcake into big bags, and pelletizing. Storage infrastructure will feature tanks with a total capacity of up to 400,000 liters for oil, as well as a warehouse for oilcake with a capacity of up to 5,000 cubic meters.
3The complex infrastructure will include reconstruction of storage facilities for the elevator, construction of a railway siding (1,520 mm gauge) with shunting equipment, an administrative building with a laboratory (12 employees) and a shelter, as well as a repair and maintenance workshop.
Energy solutions will include rooftop solar power installations, energy storage systems, and a natural gas-powered cogeneration unit for electricity and heat generation.
Earlier, it was reported that construction of a modern feed mill has begun in the Lviv region at the facilities of “Agrofirma Dzvony.” The future complex will have a capacity of 240 tons of compound feed per day and will provide a full production cycle—from grain cultivation to feed production for in-house livestock operations.
