Ukraine has been increasing the export of frozen raspberries for eight years, and 2025 confirms this trend. According to Taras Bashtannyk, president of the Ukrainian Fruit and Vegetable Association, Ukrainian producers have held first place among raspberry exporters to the European Union for the second year in a row, surpassing Poland and Serbia.
“We will likely take first place in raspberry exports to the EU for the second year in a row,” Bashtannyk noted in an interview with SEEDS.
Although the final statistics have not yet been published, the available data confirm these forecasts. According to the expert, the market situation looks stable and promising.
This year’s raspberry price is approximately 20% higher than last year. At the same time, Bashtannyk admits that spring frosts damaged the first wave of shoots of remontant raspberries, which led to the loss of about 20% of the harvest. However, the rest of the plantings were not affected, and the total volume of production remained high.
