As of January 1, 2026, Ukrainian farmers harvested more than 75.3 million tonnes of grains, pulses, and oilseeds, and also dug up over 11 million tonnes of sugar beet, according to official data, according to ProAgro Group
The Ministry of Economy reports that the largest share of the harvest comes from corn, with 27.7 million tonnes collected from 89% of planted areas, at an average yield of 7.13 tonnes per hectare. Sunflower output reached 9.2 million tonnes from 93% of harvested areas, with an average yield of 1.91 t/ha. The soybean harvest is nearly complete, totaling 4.85 million tonnes from 99% of planted areas, with yields averaging 2.37 t/ha.
Total sugar beet production exceeded 11 million tonnes, with an average yield of 55.3 t/ha. The highest productivity was recorded in Chernivtsi region, where yields averaged 78 tonnes per hectare. At the same time, the largest sugar beet acreage was traditionally concentrated in Vinnytsia region, covering 44.2 thousand hectares.
Earlier reports noted that by the end of December 2025, up to 4.5 million tonnes of corn still remained unharvested in Ukrainian fields.
