As of January 12, Ukraine has exported 16.376 million tonnes of grains and pulses since the start of the 2025/26 marketing year (July–June), ProAgro Group reports.

According to data from the Держмитслужба, export volumes are 7.5 million tonnes, or 31.5%, lower than in the same period last year.

Wheat exports currently total 8.115 million tonnes, which is more than 2.2 million tonnes, or 21.4%, less than in the corresponding period of the previous season. Barley shipments reached 1.321 million tonnes, down by 690,000 tonnes or 34.2% year-on-year.

Corn exports show the sharpest decline: 6.689 million tonnes so far, compared with 11.2 million tonnes a year earlier, representing a drop of around 40%. Rye exports remain minimal at just 200 tonnes this season, whereas 10,800 tonnes had already been shipped by this time last year.

In addition, 35,300 tonnes of flour were exported as of the reporting date, including 34,300 tonnes of wheat flour, which is 3,900 tonnes less than in the same period of the 2024/25 marketing year.
