The agricultural company Bilyi Stik continues to develop livestock farming and strengthen the agricultural sector of the Sheptytskyi district in Lviv region, ProAgro Group reports.
According to the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of the Lviv Regional Administration, the private enterprise is successfully developing crop production, dairy farming and pig breeding.
The farm cultivates more than 2,300 hectares of agricultural land and keeps around 1,300 head of cattle, including 600 dairy cows. The enterprise also maintains 1,287 pigs and 50 bee colonies. The farm provides jobs for residents of nearby villages.
According to the farm’s head Oleh Ivanchyn, diversification helps the enterprise remain resilient during challenging times, as different production areas support each other.
In 2025, the farm improved the genetics of its dairy herd by purchasing 98 Holstein heifers. The animals have already calved, helping increase the number of dairy cows and improve the herd’s genetic potential.
“Farms like Bilyi Stik demonstrate that even under wartime conditions and during the crisis in the dairy sector, diversification allows businesses to remain profitable and continue developing,” said Liudmyla Honcharenko, Director of the regional Department of Agriculture.
Earlier it was reported that a modern livestock complex for 650 head of young cattle was launched in the village of Pchany, Lviv region, as part of ongoing investments in dairy production.
