KLO AGRO builds grain elevator with capacity of over 20,000 tons in Vinnytsia region

A company in the Vinnytsia region belonging to the KLO AGRO group has built a grain elevator with a total storage capacity of 21,000 tons, ProAgro Group reports.

According to KLO AGRO Executive Director Hanna Khalimonchuk, the complex includes three silos with a capacity of 5,000 tons each and five silos with a capacity of 1,000 tons each. Together with a hopper for wet grain, the total storage capacity reaches 21,000 tons, with plans to expand the facility to 60,000 tons in the future.

The main purpose of the investment is to ensure feed supply for the company’s pig complex with 1,250 sows and to improve control over feed quality and production costs. In addition to grain storage and handling, the complex also produces oilcake and compound feed.

During the 2025 harvest, the KLO AGRO elevator received about 9,000 tons of grain, including 500 tons belonging to local farmers. The company plans to gradually increase the share of grain stored for third-party producers.

“We do not impose strict conditions on farmers regarding mandatory storage periods or the requirement to sell grain to us. We can return the grain to the farmer the very next day after acceptance and drying,” Khalimonchuk said.

KLO is a Ukrainian fuel station network operating since 1995. As of 2025, the brand includes 73 filling stations, most of which are located in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, equipped with shops, cafés, and electric vehicle charging stations.

Earlier it was reported that by the end of 2025, Ukraine’s total grain storage capacity had increased to 52.67 million tons, compared to 52.1 million tons in October 2024, despite infrastructure losses caused by the war.
