A 40-year-old grain truck driver was killed in the Sadivska community of Sumy region, located about 50 kilometers from the russian border. The incident was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration, according to ProAgro Group.
According to officials, the man arrived to load grain when a russian drone targeted the truck’s cabin where the driver was located.
The vehicle caught fire after the strike. Unfortunately, the driver died at the scene.
Earlier it was reported that less than a week ago, on March 11, russia attacked the border area of Chernihiv region, where a drone strike destroyed a grain storage facility belonging to a local agricultural enterprise. On the same day, russian drones also struck a meat processing plant in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv. Two men were killed and seven people were injured, including three women and four men who had come to work in the morning.
