As of March 23, Ukraine has exported 24,818 thousand tonnes of grains and pulses since the beginning of the 2025/26 marketing year (July–June), ProAgro Group reports.

According to the State Customs Service, the export volume is nearly 7.4 million tonnes, or 23%, lower than the figure as of March 26 last year.

Wheat shipments currently amount to 9,562 thousand tonnes, which is more than 3.3 million tonnes or 26.1% less than the volume exported during the same period of the previous season. Barley exports total 1,932 thousand tonnes — 260 thousand tonnes or 12% less. Corn shipments also significantly lag behind last year: currently they amount to 13,485 thousand tonnes compared to 16.6 million tonnes a year earlier, i.e. 18.9% less. Only 200 tonnes of rye have been exported this season, while at this time last year exports already reached 10.8 thousand tonnes.

In addition, 47.8 thousand tonnes of flour (including 46.5 thousand tonnes of wheat flour) have been exported as of the reporting date, which is 5 thousand tonnes less than in the corresponding period of the 2024/25 marketing year.

Since the beginning of the current month, Ukraine has exported 2,393 thousand tonnes of grain, including 415 thousand tonnes of wheat, 37 thousand tonnes of barley and 1,937 thousand tonnes of corn. Additionally, 4.6 thousand tonnes of grain flour have been shipped abroad.
