The company “AGRONOVA” has completed the harvest of early crops, threshing about 10 thousand hectares of winter and spring wheat, as well as peas, reports “ProAgro Group”.
According to the company, the average wheat yield was 30 cwt/ha, although it reached 58 cwt/ha in certain fields. At the same time, some areas suffered from May frosts, which reduced the yield there to 15 cwt/ha.
About 40% of the harvested wheat meets the second class — with a protein content of 13.3% and gluten exceeding 24%.
About 1000 tons of peas were harvested with an average yield of 18 cwt/ha, and test plots of chickpeas and flax yielded 13 cwt/ha each.
At the end of August, “AGRONOVA” started harvesting soybeans — 400 hectares out of 2300 have already been threshed. The campaign for corn and sunflower will start shortly.
