As of November 25, Ukrainian farmers have sown 6,429.9 thousand hectares of winter crops, which accounts for 98.1% of the projected areas.
According to the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, the following has currently been sown:
- winter wheat – 4,692.8 thousand hectares;
- winter barley – 586.1 thousand hectares;
- winter rye – 66.3 thousand hectares.
Chernivtsi and Cherkasy oblasts are among the leaders in grain crop sowing.
Grain sowing has already been completed in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, and Chernihiv oblasts.
Agricultural producers in all oblasts have virtually completed the sowing of winter rapeseed. 1,084.7 thousand hectares have been sown, which accounts for 96.5% of the projected areas.
