The Ministry of Economy has launched the acceptance of applications for a 25% compensation of the cost of Ukrainian-made agricultural machinery and equipment in 2026, ProAgro Group reports.
This year, the state has allocated UAH 1.8 billion to finance partial compensation for the cost of agricultural machinery and equipment produced by Ukrainian manufacturers.
The 25% compensation (excluding VAT) applies to Ukrainian agricultural machinery and equipment with at least 60% localization. Special conditions apply to certain categories, including combine harvesters, tractors, self-propelled sprayers, and grain trucks.
Buyers must select machinery from the official list published on the Ministry of Economy’s website, which currently includes 14,425 items from 166 Ukrainian manufacturers. The list covers soil cultivation and seeding machinery, headers, grain cleaning and elevator equipment, grain dryers, conveyors, truck scales, and other modern equipment of Ukrainian origin. A separate catalog of Ukrainian agro-processing equipment is available on the “Made in Ukraine” website.
To receive compensation, an agricultural producer must:
- be registered in the State Agrarian Register (DAR);
- select machinery or equipment from the approved list;
- purchase it through an authorized bank (34 banks participate in the program);
- after full payment via the same bank, submit an application for 25% compensation.
Applications are submitted through authorized banks.
Manufacturers wishing to include their machinery in the official list may apply via the Ministry of Economy’s official email — meconomy@me.gov.ua. Applications must be submitted electronically using a digital signature or other identification tools that verify the identity of the company’s head or authorized representative.
Over the two years since the program was reinstated, 8.6 thousand enterprises have already purchased 13.7 thousand units of machinery worth nearly UAH 9.9 billion. The state has reimbursed almost UAH 2.1 billion.
As previously reported, in 2026 farmers will also have access to a new compensation program for crop losses caused by drought and other climate risks — up to UAH 4,700 per hectare, but no more than 2,000 hectares per farm.
