“Continental Farmers Group” has completed the potato harvest for the 2025 season. Harvesting was carried out on an area exceeding 2.1 thousand hectares in Lviv and Ternopil regions.
As reported by the company, specifically, 1,270 ha of crisping varieties, 496 ha of table (food) varieties, and 356 ha of seed varieties were harvested.
According to Andrii Bednarskyi, head of the Potato cluster, the season was atypical, but thanks to clear planning, organization, and high quality of work, the company harvested 18% more than expected. This required an operational redistribution of the load on storage facilities, which the team successfully managed.
The harvesting campaign was also significant due to the renewal of the technical fleet. In particular, the new third-generation potato harvester—the most modern in Ukraine—worked efficiently. Investments in equipment allowed increasing productivity and ensuring careful handling of products, which aligns with the company’s production modernization strategy.
Concurrently, “Continental” is already preparing areas for the 2026 potato harvest — about 2.1 thousand hectares. The threshing of late grain crops is also nearing completion.
