At the end of the season, AGROTRADE Group achieved results that significantly exceeded planned targets for several crops and clusters, reports ProAgro Group.
According to the company, corn became one of the undisputed leaders of the past season. The yield plan fulfillment reached 117%, with an average yield of 98.3 centners per hectare. The best results were achieved in the Chernihiv region, where corn yields reached 103.3 c/ha.
Winter wheat also delivered strong performance. A historical record for the Chernihiv region was set at 84 centners per hectare of standard weight. In the Sumy region, just 20 km from the border with the enemy, yields reached 81.5 c/ha.
“Overall, the season was challenging and required maximum flexibility from the team. We adapted to weather conditions and phytosanitary challenges while laying the groundwork for the next harvest. We adjusted nutrition and crop protection schemes for wheat, soybeans, rapeseed, and corn, while deliberately maintaining proven approaches for sunflower. The organization of fieldwork and preparation for harvesting became one of the key success factors. Early machinery preparation and clear logistics planning helped avoid downtime and preserve crop quality,” summarized the group’s Chief Agronomist, Hennadii Malyi.
The company is currently actively preparing for the new season, contracting fertilizers, seeds, and machinery for spring fieldwork.
As previously reported, in the 2025 season AGROTRADE Group expanded its crop structure by including peas in its crop rotation for the first time. Nearly 450 hectares in the Kharkiv region were allocated to the new crop, following a systematic analysis of regional agroclimatic conditions and climate change trends.
