Farmers received UAH 78 million in compensation for purchased agricultural equipment

The Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture transferred nearly UAH 78 million in October based on applications from farmers under a program to compensate 25% of the cost of Ukrainian agricultural machinery and equipment, according to ProAgro Group.

According to the ministry, in October, agricultural producers submitted 401 applications for compensation for the cost of 632 units of agricultural machinery and equipment for a total amount of over UAH 374.4 million (including VAT).

The purchased equipment includes semi-trailers of various models, soil cultivation equipment, dryers, seeders, conveyors of various models, truck scales, sprayers, and many other modern agricultural equipment manufactured in Ukraine.

To take advantage of the 25% compensation program, agricultural producers must be registered in the State Agrarian Register (DAR), select equipment from the official list on the Ministry of Economy website, and purchase it through an authorized bank. Thirty-four banks are participating in the program. Compensation of 25% of the cost (excluding VAT) is provided for Ukrainian agricultural machinery and equipment with at least 60% localization. Special conditions apply to certain categories, such as combines, tractors, self-propelled sprayers, and grain trucks.
