Agroholding MHP produced 493 thousand tonnes of poultry meat in Ukraine in January–September 2025, which is 8% less than in the same period of 2024, when output totaled 533.7 thousand tonnes. This was reported in the company’s financial statement, according to ProAgro Group.
The company explains the decline in domestic production by the challenging security situation, logistical constraints, and optimization of production capacities in line with market conditions. At the same time, MHP continues to hold leading positions in Ukraine’s domestic poultry market and remains one of the country’s largest exporters of chicken meat.
At the same time, the agroholding increased production in its European operating segment. Over the first nine months of 2025, poultry meat output in Europe (excluding the Spanish company UVESA) rose by 6% year-on-year to 114.4 thousand tonnes. The growth was driven by steady demand for MHP products in EU markets and improved efficiency of the company’s European assets.
Overall, in January–September 2025 MHP’s total poultry meat production in Ukraine and Europe exceeded 607 thousand tonnes. The company also reiterated its focus on expanding export sales, diversifying sales markets, and investing in processing of value-added products.
As reported earlier, MHP has topped the ranking of Europe’s largest poultry producers for the third consecutive year, according to the international industry publication WATTPoultry International.
