The Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine approved a decision to provide state incentives to five more initiators and management companies of industrial parks for a total amount of about 259.3 million hryvnias.
Funding will be provided to:
- Industrial Park “Syhnivka” (Lviv Region) — 35 million UAH for the construction of electricity networks, as well as fire-fighting water supply networks, heat supply, and a storm drainage system on the territory of the industrial park;
- Industrial Park “Vinnytsia Industrial Park” (Vinnytsia Region) — 33.9 million UAH for the construction of road infrastructure and water supply networks, as well as a transformer substation on the territory of the industrial park;
- Industrial Park “Dolyna Stryi” (Lviv Region) — 63.9 million UAH for the construction of external networks for electricity supply, water supply, and sewage systems of the industrial park, as well as the reconstruction of a street section leading to the industrial park;
- Industrial Park “Kryvbas” (Dnipropetrovsk Region) — 21.8 million UAH for the construction of the 1st stage of external utility networks of the industrial park;
- Industrial Park “FRUIT INDUSTRY” (Chernivtsi Region) — 104.7 million UAH for the construction of local wastewater treatment plants.
Syhnivka Industrial Park and Vinnytsia Industrial Park had already received funds last year for co-financing the construction of necessary infrastructure, but they did not yet have finalized project documentation. Therefore, this year they applied to the Ministry of Economy to fully utilize the limit of UAH 150 million per industrial park.
Taking into account the new decision, this year 9 industrial parks have already received state incentives for the implementation of 17 projects totaling 603.7 million hryvnias.
“The state stimulation program for industrial parks, within the framework of the ‘Made in Ukraine’ policy, proves that the co-financing mechanism works and is in demand. Industrial parks consistently invest in infrastructure, preparing sites for the location of production facilities and attracting investors. 1 hryvnia invested by the state in the industrial infrastructure of industrial parks allows attracting 5-6 UAH of private investment,” said Deputy Minister of Economy Vitaliy Kindrativ.
