A New Industrial Park Will Appear in Khmelnytskyi Region

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution on entering the NOVA SYNERGY industrial park into the State Register of Industrial Parks. The new site was created for a period of 30 years within the Novoushytsia settlement community of the Kamianets-Podilskyi district, Khmelnytskyi region. The local settlement council acted as the initiator.

The total area of the industrial park is 11 hectares. The creation of NOVA SYNERGY will ensure the creation of approximately 550 new jobs in the processing industry. The implementation of the project involves attracting funds from the management company, park participants, the State Fund for Regional Development, investors, the EBRD, and international technical assistance.

According to Deputy Minister of Economy Vitaliy Kindrativ, industrial parks are a key tool of the “Made in Ukraine” policy. NOVA SYNERGY will become a new production center in the west of the country, capable of attracting investment in agricultural product processing and the production of machinery and equipment, creating jobs and increasing the region’s investment attractiveness.

Enterprises are planned to be located on the territory of the park in the following areas:

  • processing of agricultural products and food production;
  • warehousing;
  • production of machinery and equipment for agriculture and forestry;
  • processing and canning of fruits and vegetables;
  • scientific and technical activities and laboratory research.

The inclusion of “NOVA SYNERGY” in the Register will contribute to the development of Ukraine’s industrial potential, ensure additional revenue for local budgets, and become a point of economic growth for the Khmelnytskyi region.
