In January 2026, Ukraine imported 3.4 thousand tonnes of pork, which is 10.5 times more than in the same period last year, ProAgro Group reports.
According to the State Customs Service, the value of pork imports in the first month of the year reached USD 7.5 million, up 12.3 times year-on-year compared with January 2025.
During January 2026, pork was imported mainly from Denmark (49.9%), Poland (20.6%), and Germany (18.6%), which together accounted for almost 90% of total imports.
As previously reported, imports of pork and lard into Ukraine have been hitting record levels, while exports of these products continue to decline.
