Road exports of agricultural products reach 259,000 tonnes in February

As of February 26, total road exports of agricultural products since the beginning of the month amounted to 259,000 tonnes, ProAgro Group reports.

According to Spike Brokers, this figure is 24,000 tonnes higher than in January but 57,000 tonnes lower than in February 2025.

Sunflower oil (23,000 tonnes) and poultry meat (22,000 tonnes) were the leading products exported by road in February. Significant volumes were also recorded for corn, soybean meal and ethyl alcohol (13,000 tonnes each), as well as sugar (11,000 tonnes) and soybean oil (10,000 tonnes).

More than 160,000 tonnes of agricultural products were exported through Polish border crossings, highlighting their key role in Ukraine’s overland export logistics.

Earlier it was reported that Lunar New Year celebrations in China and other Asian countries temporarily reduced activity on the global vegetable oil market. At the same time, increased supply put additional price pressure on sunflower oil in the EU.
