Share of Processed Agricultural Products in Ukraine’s Exports Is Growing

Ukraine is increasing the share of processed agricultural products in its exports, ProAgro Group reports.

According to the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, over the first nine months of 2025 exports of raw agricultural commodities from Ukraine amounted to $8.67 billion, while processed products reached $7.58 billion, accounting for 53.4% and 46.6% respectively. During the same period last year, the ratio of raw to processed products exported stood at 60.4% and 39.6%.

The Ministry notes that in 2025 processed products reached their highest share in Ukraine’s total agricultural exports over the past five years.

The ranking of agricultural sectors with the highest share of processed products in exports is as follows:

  • milk and dairy products — 96%;
  • cereal and oilseed seeds and processed products — 87.2%;
  • fruits and berries and processed products — 53.2%;
  • vegetables and processed products — 35.9%;
  • pulses and processed products — 30.2%;
  • grains and processed products — 8.5%;
  • meat and processed products — 4%.

Previously, it was reported that dairy companies stepped up exports of fresh products: in October 2025 export volumes increased by one-third compared to the same period last year.
