Given the climate changes, ‘Tekom Agro Group’ is implementing moisture-saving soil cultivation technologies, particularly verti-till, and also changing crop rotation by adding drought-resistant crops, including lentils.
«We are constantly looking for ways to increase production and economic efficiency. To improve the quality of PPP application, we purchased two new sprayers. Warehouses have been built at two southern enterprises where storage capacity was lacking,» – said Viktor Bykov, head of the agricultural association, to the publication AgroPortal.
The company’s plans include the construction of its own liquid fertilizer production facility, the modernization of elevators, and the launch of a seed line to provide all enterprises of the association with their own material.
«We are also considering grain processing, as we successfully grow durum wheat and have mastered the technology of growing lentils; peas are next in line,» concluded Viktor Bykov.
