The Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine has completed the allocation of an additional quota for sugar exports to the European Union, which will be valid until the end of 2025.
According to the National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine (NACU) ‘Ukrsukor’, the quota was allocated according to the share of exporters in the total volume of sugar supplies to the EU in the first half of 2025. Export rights were granted to 14 companies representing 21 sugar factories.
The total volume of the additional quota is 46.6 thousand tons, which Ukrainian producers can supply to the EU until December 31, 2025.
