Ukraine imported tractors worth $762.55 million in January–November 2025, up 5.5% compared to the same period in 2024 ($722.5 million), according to data from the State Customs Service of Ukraine, ProAgro Group reports.
The largest suppliers of tractors to the Ukrainian market during the period were the United States, accounting for 21.8% of total imports or $166 million. China ranked second with a 17% share ($130 million), followed by Germany with 16.6% ($126.4 million). For comparison, Germany led imports in the same period of 2024 with $110 million, China was second ($100.56 million), while the United States ranked third ($97.3 million).
At the same time, tractor imports from other countries declined by 18% year-on-year in January–November 2025, totaling $340.31 million.
In November 2025, Ukraine’s tractor imports decreased by 4% compared to November 2024 to $59.5 million and were also 19.4% lower than in October 2025.
According to the statistics, tractor imports showed negative dynamics at the beginning of 2025: in January, volumes were nearly one-third lower than in January 2024. However, by the end of the first half of the year, imports almost matched last year’s levels, resulting in overall growth for the 11-month period.
Regarding exports, Ukraine shipped tractors worth nearly $6 million in January–November 2025. The main export destinations were Romania (22.4%), as well as Belgium and Germany. In the same period of 2024, tractor exports totaled $5 million, with Moldova (25.6%), Kazakhstan, and the Czech Republic as the key markets.
Earlier reports noted that in November 2025, sales of new commercial trucks in Ukraine fell by 10% year-on-year to 982 units.
