Soybean exports from Ukraine in December 2025 amounted to 237 thousand tonnes, according to ProAgro Group.
The main buyers of Ukrainian soy were Turkey (86.1 thousand tons), the Netherlands (56.6 thousand tons), and France (33.3 thousand tons). Overall, the MENA region and Europe accounted for more than three-quarters of total shipments — 40.5% and 39.6%, respectively.
Significant volumes were also sent to Germany, Romania, the UAE, and Egypt. Shipments to Asian and North African markets remain relatively small.
Soy exports demonstrate good diversification, with stable demand from both the EU and Middle Eastern markets.
Market data shows that the spot GMO soybean index for CIF port export within 30 days rose by $2 to $425 per ton, excluding VAT. The spot GMO soybean index for processing decreased by $3 to $461 per ton, including VAT.
As previously reported, soybeans are replacing corn in the United States due to high production costs.
