Capital investments in Ukraine’s agriculture sector grew by 7% in 2025

Capital investments in Ukraine’s agricultural sector increased by 7% in 2025 compared to the previous year, ProAgro Group[a1]  reports, citing data from the State Statistics Service.

Overall capital investments in Ukraine’s economy rose by 25.2% year-on-year, reaching UAH 669.3 billion.

Investments in agriculture totaled UAH 1.23 billion, with the vast majority — nearly UAH 1.2 billion — directed toward crop production, which saw a 10% increase compared to 2024.

At the same time, investments in livestock production declined significantly, falling by half to just UAH 23.3 million.

Meanwhile, capital investments in food production increased 1.6 times, reaching UAH 607.9 million. In particular:

  • vegetable oil production attracted UAH 463.6 million (+43%);
  • meat products — UAH 51.3 million (+91%);
  • dairy products — UAH 34.4 million (up 4.5 times);
  • flour production — UAH 9.2 million (up 4.2 times);
  • bakery products — UAH 31.6 million (up 3 times).

Earlier, it was reported that in January 2026, agricultural output in Ukraine increased by 3.2% year-on-year, according to the State Statistics Service.
