In the first two weeks of applications in 2026, Ukrainian businesses submitted 140 applications for grants aimed at developing and restoring processing enterprises, totaling UAH 864.9 million, ProAgro Group reports citing the Ministry of Economy.
Applicants include producers of food products, construction materials, clothing, metal structures, and other goods. Additionally, six companies applied for grants to restore facilities damaged by shelling.
According to Economy Minister Oleksii Sobolev, the number of applications increased by 21.7% compared to the same period in 2025. If all applications are approved, total investments, including co-financing by businesses, could reach UAH 1.6 billion, creating more than 1,300 new jobs.
The program has been operating since 2022, with over 1,300 grants issued totaling UAH 6.7 billion. Applications are accepted in two-week waves via the Diia portal, with the latest round launched on March 13.
Grants can be used for purchasing equipment, launching production, or restoring damaged enterprises. The maximum funding amounts are up to UAH 8 million for development and up to UAH 16 million for recovery.
Earlier, the Ministry of Economy and the State Employment Service also announced the launch of the 2026 application intake for the “Own Business” and “Grants for Veterans” programs.
