AST (Akris Agro) has completed the construction of a grain elevator in the Lviv region with a total storage capacity of 70,000 tons, ProAgro Group reports.
According to the company’s press service, the facility officially started operations on March 16. Grain will be stored both in traditional warehouses and in grain bags.
The elevator is equipped with a Sukup grain dryer with a capacity of up to 1,000 tons per day. Most of the remaining equipment is domestically produced, including solutions from the Ukrainian company Elevate (Dnipro).
The company emphasized that launching new infrastructure during wartime is particularly important, as it contributes to job creation, generates tax revenues, and supports the development of local communities and infrastructure.
Earlier, it was reported that another elevator with a storage capacity of 21,000 tons was built in Vinnytsia region at an enterprise belonging to KLO Agro Group.
