The agricultural holding Astarta is consistently upgrading its machinery fleet to ensure stability and reliability in daily production processes. For its livestock division, the company has purchased 10 light tractors with a total value of approximately UAH 16 million, according to ProAgro Group.
The new equipment will be used in key operations such as feeding, cleaning, and internal logistics, ensuring timely and stable workflow execution. This directly impacts production consistency, feed quality, animal productivity, and milk production costs.
“Even relatively simple machinery plays a critical role in daily operations. Its reliability and predictability are the foundation of operational discipline and stable results,” said Yaroslav Kushnir, Director of the Livestock Department at Astarta.
The company also reported that in 2025 it invested around $22 million in upgrading machinery across key production areas. This is part of Astarta’s comprehensive modernization program aimed at improving infrastructure and transitioning to more energy-efficient, reliable, and resource-saving solutions.
As previously reported, construction of a soy protein concentrate plant by Astarta is ongoing in Globyno, Poltava region. By the end of 2025, mechanical installation of extraction shop equipment was fully completed, and installation of process pipelines has begun.
