The average consumer price of buckwheat groats in Ukraine reached UAH 44.88 per kg in December 2025, up 5.5% compared to November (UAH 42.55 per kg). This is according to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, ProAgro Group reports.
At the same time, prices increased by 27.5% year-on-year compared to December of the previous year, when buckwheat cost UAH 35.19 per kg.
According to official statistics, buckwheat prices have been rising every month since April 2024, when the average price stood at around UAH 26.36 per kg.
As previously reported, pork prices in Ukraine increased by more than 30% over the course of 2025.
