During the past week, December 15–19, under the State Program “Affordable Loans 5-7-9%”, representatives of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) received 530 preferential loans from authorized banks totaling UAH 2.7 billion, including 289 loans worth UAH 0.8 billion from state-owned banks, reports ProAgro Group.
According to the Ministry of Economy, since the beginning of 2025, entrepreneurs have received 28,187 loans under the 5-7-9 program amounting to UAH 84.4 billion, of which 20,017 loans worth UAH 46.1 billion were issued by state-owned banks.
Since the introduction of martial law in Ukraine, 97,822 loans worth UAH 360.8 billion have been issued (including 71,411 loans worth UAH 182.6 billion by state-owned banks). As of December 22 of the current year, the distribution is as follows:
- UAH 54.57 billion – for investment purposes
- UAH 80.15 billion – for working capital financing
- UAH 48.9 billion – for agricultural producers
- UAH 53.3 billion – for agricultural product processing
- UAH 3.75 billion – for energy service financing
- UAH 56.84 billion – for anti-war purposes
- UAH 51.36 billion – for lending in high-risk war zones
Since the program’s launch, 132,644 loan agreements worth UAH 450.5 billion have been signed, including 91,887 agreements worth UAH 209.2 billion by state-owned banks.
Earlier, it was reported that the Ministry of Economy launched the selection of non-bank institutions to provide loans to farmers.
