In January–October 2025, Ukraine imported tractors worth $703.8 million, which is 6.6% more than in the corresponding period of 2024 ($660.5 million), according to the State Customs Service.
The largest number of tractors came from the USA — $154 million (22% of total imports), followed by China — $121.1 million (17.2%) and Germany — $115.6 million (16.4%). For comparison, last year Germany was the leader ($101.5 million), and the USA took third place ($86.9 million).
Imports from other countries decreased by 17.7% over 10 months — to $313.1 million. In October 2025, tractor imports increased by 9.1% compared to October 2024 — to $73.8 million, which is also slightly higher than the September figure.
At the beginning of the year, imports showed a decline: in January, they were one-third less than in January 2024. However, by mid-year, the volumes had almost caught up with the previous year’s figures.
Exports of Ukrainian tractors for 10 months of 2025 amounted to $5.1 million — mainly to Romania (25%), Belgium, and Germany. Last year during this period, exports amounted to $4.6 million, with the main destinations being Moldova, the Czech Republic, and Kazakhstan.
For the entire year 2024, tractor imports to Ukraine amounted to almost $784 million, which is 5.6% less than in 2023. Exports were $5.4 million compared to $5.7 million the year before.
