The year 2025 turned out to be extremely wet, resulting in most farms harvesting grain with high moisture content, ProAgro Group reports.
The situation was particularly pronounced in Western Ukraine. To act quickly and avoid dependence on weather and elevator queues, one local farm decided to install its own dryer.
After consulting with experts from Grain House, the farm chose the Sukup Mixed-Flow dryer, which performs excellently with wet grain, providing even drying and easy operation. The reliability and cost-efficiency of Sukup dryers were key factors in selecting this solution.
The Grain House team completed the full scope of work — from delivery to commissioning — within a short timeframe. The dryer is now fully operational, and the first batches of grain are reaching quality standards without delays. The farm emphasizes process stability and ease of equipment management.
As a result, farmers received a comprehensive solution — equipment, operator training, and technical support. Most importantly, having their own dryer provides stability, independence, and the ability to operate at their own pace, regardless of weather or elevator queues.

As previously reported, Grain House became a special partner and participant of the Grain Storage Forum 2026.
