In January 2026, Ukraine produced 882.7 million eggs from domestic poultry, which is 12.3% more than in the same period last year, according to data from the State Statistics Service, PProAgro Group reports.

Enterprises produced 616.8 million eggs during the first month of the year, exceeding the January 2025 figure by 22.6%. At the same time, household production declined by 6% year-on-year to 265.9 million eggs in January 2026.

As previously reported, according to the State Statistics Service, the average consumer price of eggs in January decreased by 7.4% to UAH 66.27 per dozen, compared to UAH 71.57 in December last year.
