IMC completes corn harvest with yield of 11.4 t/ha

IMC has completed its 2025 corn harvest, collecting more than 742 thousand tonnes of grain from 65.1 thousand hectares, ProAgro Group reports. The average yield reached 11.4 tonnes per hectare.

The company noted that the harvest campaign was prolonged due to high grain moisture levels, forcing farmers to operate under tighter weather windows and more complex technological conditions. Despite these challenges, IMC achieved one of its highest corn yields in recent years.

“Higher moisture levels increased the workload for grain drying, but at the same time allowed us to extend the intake period at our elevators. Given limited export capacity due to the situation in ports and on railways, this helped optimize logistics costs,” said IMC Chief Operating Officer Bohdan Kryvytskyi.

As previously reported, Agrotrade Group resumed corn harvesting in February. By the end of 2025, around 1,225.5 hectares remained unharvested in the company’s cluster in the Sumy region, approximately 10% of its total corn area.
