The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has added the industrial park Nosivski Hospodarstva to the State Register of Industrial (Manufacturing) Parks. The new site will be located in the city of Nosivka in the Nizhyn district of the Chernihiv region, ProAgro Group reports.
The park will cover an area of 14.16 hectares and will focus on the development of industrial processing. According to the project plan, around 700 new jobs are expected to be created, providing a significant boost to the regional economy.
The total investment required for the project is estimated at approximately 716 million UAH. Funding will come from the initiators’ own resources, the managing company, state incentives, private capital, and contributions from potential residents of the park. The Nosivka City Council has already allocated 500,000 UAH for initial preparations.
The industrial park is expected to host enterprises operating in the following sectors:
- food production and processing;
- alternative energy;
- scientific and technological development.
According to the Ministry of Economy, Ukraine currently has 114 registered industrial parks, and each hectare of such territories can generate up to 50 new jobs. State investments have a strong multiplier effect: 1 UAH of government support stimulates 5–6 UAH of private investment.
As previously reported, the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine approved state incentives totaling around 259.3 million UAH for the development of infrastructure in five industrial parks.
