As of January 8, 2026, Ukraine has harvested 76.27 million tonnes of grains, pulses and oilseeds, according to operational data from the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, reported by ProAgro Group.
Harvesting of late crops is still ongoing in several regions, with a significant share of acreage yet to be threshed. In particular, in the Dnipropetrovsk region 63.1% of soybean areas have been harvested, along with 74% of corn and 78.9% of sunflower. In the Kharkiv region, harvesting stands at 76.4% for soybeans, 43% for corn and 81.7% for sunflower. In the Zhytomyr region, 98.7% of soybean areas, 88% of corn and 97.5% of sunflower have already been harvested.
Nationwide, Ukraine has harvested 28.66 million tonnes of corn from 4 million hectares with an average yield of 7.16 t/ha, 9.28 million tonnes of sunflower from 4.84 million hectares at 1.92 t/ha, and 4.85 million tonnes of soybeans from 2.04 million hectares with an average yield of 2.37 t/ha. Other grains and pulses account for 957.1 thousand tonnes harvested from 334 thousand hectares.
Harvesting has been fully completed in Vinnytsia, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhzhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Odesa and Khmelnytskyi regions.
Previously, it was reported that as of January 1, 2026, Ukrainian farmers had harvested more than 75.3 million tonnes of grains, pulses and oilseeds, as well as over 11 million tonnes of sugar beets.
