Pork Imports to Ukraine Increase Almost 13-Fold in January–November 2025

According to the results of January–November 2025, pork imports to Ukraine reached 28.4 thousand tons, which is almost 13 times higher than in the same period of 2024, ProAgro Group reports.

In monetary terms, pork imports also increased 12.9 times, amounting to USD 70.8 million over the first 11 months of 2025. The main supplying countries were Denmark, accounting for 57.9% of total imports, Poland with 19%, and the Netherlands with 7.9%.

At the same time, exports of Ukrainian pork in January–November 2025 decreased by 21.4% compared to the same period last year, totaling 2.2 thousand tons. The value of exported products declined by 4.3% to USD 6.6 million.

The largest markets for Ukrainian pork remain the United Arab Emirates (33.9% of total exports), Hong Kong (16.9%), and Bahrain (16.6%).

As previously reported, pork prices in Ukraine increased by more than 30% year-on-year, with the average consumer price reaching UAH 242.97 per kg in November 2025.
