The company «TAS Agro» announced the completion of the autumn sowing campaign. In total, the agricultural holding sowed about 21 thousand hectares of winter wheat and 15 thousand hectares of rapeseed, reports «ProAgro Group».
The company notes that winter crops are strategic for the production program, as they ensure stability in the cropping structure and form the basis of the future harvest.
As reported, this year «TAS Agro» harvested over 130 thousand tons of early grain crops from an area of 22 thousand hectares. The average yield of winter wheat was 59 centners/ha, and in Chernihiv region, it exceeded 70 centners/ha. The company operates in several regions of Ukraine, particularly in Vinnytsia, Chernihiv, Poltava, Kirovohrad, and Khmelnytsky regions, where it cultivates a total of over 80 thousand hectares of land.
