As of January 30, Ukraine has exported 18.71 million tons of grains and legumes since the start of the 2025/26 marketing year (July–June), reports ProAgro Group.
According to the State Customs Service of Ukraine, total grain exports are 6.8 million tons, or 26.7%, lower than as of January 31 last year.
Wheat shipments currently amount to 8.451 million tons, which is almost 2.3 million tons, or 21.4%, less than during the same period of the previous season. Barley exports totaled 1.335 million tons, down by 730 thousand tons, or 35.3%. Corn exports also lag behind last year’s volumes, reaching 8.662 million tons compared with 12.3 million tons a year earlier, representing a decline of 29.8%. Rye exports remain minimal at just 200 tons this season, compared with 10.8 thousand tons exported by the same date last year.
In addition, 38.5 thousand tons of flour were exported as of the reporting date, including 37.4 thousand tons of wheat flour, which is 5 thousand tons less than during the same period of the 2024/25 marketing year.
During the first 30 days of January alone, Ukraine exported 3.178 million tons of grain, including 499 thousand tons of wheat, 15 thousand tons of barley, and 2.657 million tons of corn. Flour exports during this period totaled 4.2 thousand tons.
As previously reported, Ukraine maintained its position among the world’s top five exporters of organic agricultural products in 2025.
