In January 2026, Ukraine exported 5 million tons of agricultural products, which is 0.8% less than in the previous month, reports ProAgro Group.
An increase in grain exports was recorded, while shipments of all other product groups declined. Corn remains the main export commodity at present.
The structure of Ukraine’s agricultural exports in January 2026 was as follows:
- grains: 3.4 million tons (corn — 83%, wheat — 16%), up 13% month on month;
- oilseeds: 351.7 thousand tons (soybeans — 63%, rapeseed — 35%, sunflower — 1%), down 32%;
- vegetable oils: 479.7 thousand tons (sunflower oil — 82%, rapeseed oil — 10%, soybean oil — 7%), down 6%;
- oilseed meals: 411 thousand tons (sunflower meal — 73%, soybean meal — 27%), down 32%;
- other agricultural products: 349.9 thousand tons, down 15%.
As previously reported, according to the State Customs Service of Ukraine, since the start of the 2025/26 marketing year as of January 30, Ukraine exported 18.71 million tons of grains and legumes, including 8.451 million tons of wheat, 1.335 million tons of barley, and 8.662 million tons of corn.
