In 2025, Ukraine registered 52,800 units of agricultural machinery, marking the highest level in the past five years, ProAgro Group reports.

According to the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection, a total of nearly 79,600 registration operations were carried out during the year. This included 52,790 newly registered machines, 23,747 deregistrations, and more than 3,000 re-registrations.

The increase in registrations indicates active renewal of the agricultural machinery fleet. In particular, the number of newly registered machines rose by nearly 35% year-on-year.

At the same time, the number of machines removed from operation increased significantly — to 23,700 units, compared to 8,700 units in 2024, suggesting a replacement of outdated equipment with newer models.

The highest level of activity was recorded in Kyiv, Volyn, Kyiv, and Vinnytsia regions.

The State Service noted that the market dynamics continue to be influenced by the security situation, particularly in regions affected by hostilities. The agency also continues cooperation with military authorities regarding machinery that may be used for defense needs.

Earlier, it was reported that tractor imports to Ukraine in January 2026 amounted to $33.3 million, down 24.2% year-on-year, indicating seasonal demand decline and cautious investment activity at the start of the year.
