Tractor imports to Ukraine amounted to $33.3 million in January 2026, down 24.2% year-on-year from $43.9 million in January 2025, according to data from the State Customs Service of Ukraine, ProAgro Group reports.
Compared with December 2025, tractor imports fell 2.5 times, indicating seasonal weakening of demand and more cautious investment activity by farmers at the beginning of the year.
The largest tractor suppliers to Ukraine in January were:
- China – 31.2% of total imports, or $10.4 million;
- United States – 13.3%, or $4.4 million;
- Germany – 11.8%, or $3.9 million.
For comparison, China was also the leading supplier in January 2025 with imports worth $9.34 million, followed by Germany ($5.5 million) and the United States ($3.7 million).
Meanwhile, Ukraine’s tractor exports in January 2026 remained limited at $0.4 million. The main destination was Belgium, which accounted for 31.8% of total exports. A year earlier, tractor exports totaled $0.56 million, with Zambia being the largest buyer (41.4%).
As reported earlier, total tractor imports to Ukraine in January–November 2025 amounted to $762.55 million, up 5.5% year-on-year compared with the same period of 2024.
