Ukraine to Update the Procedure for Normative Monetary Valuation of Land

Ukraine is set to update the procedure for normative monetary valuation (NMV) of land by applying a moisture coefficient. The decision is at the final approval stage, Taras Vysotskyi, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, said during a forum organized by the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council, ProAgro Group reports.

“The decision will be adopted in March. From the second quarter, recalculations will be possible,” Vysotskyi said.

According to officials, the update will allow a more accurate reflection of climatic conditions in arid regions, particularly Odesa region, and help reduce the disproportionate tax burden on agricultural producers.

Earlier, it was reported that in 2026 the key drivers of Ukraine’s land market development will continue to include the security situation, regional specifics, and the investment attractiveness of land plots.
