Ukrzaliznytsia transports over 940,000 tons of grain in the first 10 days of December

In the first 10 days of December, Ukrzaliznytsia transported 940.3 thousand tons of grain, including 872.3 thousand tons for export, reports ProAgro Group.

According to Valeriy Tkachov, Deputy Director of the Department of Transportation Technology and Commercial Operations at JSC Ukrzaliznytsia, the total grain transportation volume increased by 2.8% compared to November but decreased by 2.2% compared to the same period last year.

Export shipments during this period rose by 9% compared to November, yet were 3.2% lower than in December 2024. Approximately 90% of the grain was sent to seaports, while the remaining 10% went through western border crossings.

Grain loading on the railway network in December decreased to 784.9 thousand tons, which is 6% lower than December last year and 5.7% lower than in November.

Earlier reports indicate that during 25 days of November 2025, the railway transported over 2.4 million tons of grain, which is 22% more than in October.
